TWO GIRLS, SOME BIKES AND A RIDE TO IRELAND!
Just before the summer of 2016, we had two ladies walk through our door. They were raising money for charity by riding from London to Ireland. However, they had been let down by another bike shop and were desperatley trying to find a shop who would loan them two bikes for the trip. We're all about the good vibes here at HUB so we came to the rescue and decided to loan them two Ridgeback bikes. We kitted out Amie and Hanna with helmets, padded shorts, lights and other accessories...along with teaching them how to use their gears properly (they were pretty novice to say the least!)
AMIE AND HANNA PLANNED ON RIDING FROM LONDON TO KILDARE IN 4 DAYS.

The main purpose for their ride was to raise awareness and money for people suffereing with Peripheral Vascular Disease. Amie's mother passed away from this disease, so we felt it was an even bigger reason to be involved. In total, the girls were aiming to ride from London to County Kildare in Ireand, which was Aime's mums hometown, and her final resting place. This is a total of 384miles and they were planning on completing the journey in 4 days. They managed to complete their goal and raised a brilliant amount for charity! A nice celebratory pint of Guiness was well deserved we think!
The girls are well on their way!
